5. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Camera not powering on. | Low or dead batteries; incorrect battery polarity. | Replace batteries with new ones, ensuring correct orientation. |
| Poor image/video quality. | Dirty lens; incorrect resolution settings; insufficient lighting. | Clean the lens. Check photo/video resolution settings in the menu or app. Ensure adequate lighting for day captures. |
| Camera not detecting motion. | PIR sensitivity too low; PIR sensors obstructed; camera placed too far from detection area. | Increase PIR sensitivity. Clear any obstructions from sensors. Reposition camera closer to the target area. |
| App connection issues. | Not connected to camera's WiFi hotspot; camera out of range (33ft). | Ensure phone WiFi is connected to the camera's hotspot. Move closer to the camera. Restart both camera and app. |
| SD card error. | Card not formatted; incompatible card; damaged card. | Format the SD card in the camera. Use a Class 10 or higher Micro SD card (up to 128GB). Try a different SD card. |
