5. Setup and Installation
Before beginning installation, ensure the main power supply to the circuit you are working on is turned OFF at the circuit breaker.
5.1 Wiring the Receiver
- Prepare the wires: Strip approximately 16mm of insulation from the ends of the power cord wires (neutral and live) and the lamp wires (neutral and live). Fold the exposed copper wire in half to create an 8mm length for a secure connection.
- Connect the power cord: Insert the power cord's neutral wire into the 'N' input hole and the live wire into the 'L' input hole on the receiver. Tighten the screw terminals securely with a screwdriver.
- Connect the lamp wires: Insert the lamp's neutral wire into the 'N' output hole and the lamp's live wire into the 'L' output hole on the receiver. Tighten the screw terminals securely.
- Verify connections: Gently pull each wire to ensure it is firmly secured in its terminal. No copper wire should be exposed outside the terminal.
- Install the rubber stopper: Place the rubber stopper into the wire holes to provide additional insulation and moisture protection.
