Setup Guide

1. Unboxing and Package Contents

Carefully unpack your Beelink SER5 Mini PC and verify all components are present. The standard package includes:

• HDMI Cable
• Power Cable

2. Initial Connection

1. Connect to a Display: Use the provided HDMI cable to connect the Mini PC to your monitor or TV. The device also supports DisplayPort (DP 1.4) and Type-C for video output.
2. Connect Peripherals: Plug in your keyboard and mouse to the available USB ports.
3. Connect to Power: Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port on the Mini PC, then plug the power cable into a wall outlet.
4. Power On: Press the power button located on the front of the Mini PC.

3. Operating System Setup

The Beelink SER5 Mini PC comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro. Upon first boot, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial Windows setup, including language selection, network connection, and user account creation.

1. Processor and Performance

The SER5 is powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 5500U processor (6 cores/12 threads, up to 4.0GHz). This processor is suitable for demanding tasks such as Microsoft Office applications, web browsing with multiple tabs, and various Adobe software (e.g., Photoshop, Premiere Pro). It provides a balance of performance and power efficiency for daily computing needs.

2. Graphics and Display Output

Equipped with AMD Radeon Graphics 7-Core 1800MHz, the SER5 supports 4K video playback and offers clear visual effects for video editing, graphic design, and light gaming. It supports triple display output via HDMI, DisplayPort (DP 1.4), and Type-C, allowing for enhanced multitasking and productivity. HDMI and Type-C ports support 4K@60Hz, while the DP 1.4 port supports 4K@144Hz.

3. Memory and Storage

The Mini PC includes 16GB DDR4 RAM (expandable up to 64GB via dual-channel 32GB modules) and a 500GB M.2 2280 NVMe SSD. The storage is expandable up to 4TB, and an additional 2.5-inch SATA HDD/SSD can be installed for further storage expansion.

4. Connectivity

The SER5 features WiFi 6 (802.11ax) for fast and stable wireless internet connectivity (up to 2.4Gbps) and Bluetooth 5.2 for connecting wireless peripherals. It also includes multiple USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, USB 2.0 ports, a 2.5G LAN port, and an audio jack.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Regularly clean the exterior of the Mini PC with a soft, dry cloth. Use compressed air to clear dust from ventilation openings to ensure proper airflow and prevent overheating. Do not use liquid cleaners directly on the device.

2. Software Updates

Keep your operating system and drivers updated to ensure optimal performance and security. Windows Update can be accessed through the Settings menu.

3. Storage Management

Periodically check your storage usage and delete unnecessary files to maintain system speed. Consider external storage or upgrading the internal SSD if you require more space.

Troubleshooting

1. No Power

• Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the Mini PC and the power outlet.
• Verify the power outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
• Check the power adapter for any visible damage.

2. No Display Output

• Confirm the HDMI/DP/Type-C cable is firmly connected to both the Mini PC and the monitor.
• Ensure the monitor is powered on and set to the correct input source.
• Try a different display cable or monitor if available.

3. Slow Performance

• Close unnecessary applications running in the background.
• Check for available Windows updates and install them.
• Ensure there is sufficient free space on the SSD.
• Monitor CPU and RAM usage through Task Manager to identify resource-intensive processes.

4. Network Connectivity Issues

• For Wi-Fi, ensure you are connected to the correct network and the password is correct.
• For wired connection, check the Ethernet cable and ensure it's properly connected to the LAN port and router.
• Restart your router and the Mini PC.
