Setup and Installation

The ApeStellar SLF02 lock is designed for straightforward installation. A detailed installation guide is included in the product package. Ensure your door meets the following specifications for proper fit:

  • Door Holes: Suitable for 2-1/8" (54mm) diameter.
  • Door Thickness: 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" (35 to 45mm).
  • Backset: 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" (60mm or 70mm).

The lock can be installed on both left-handed and right-handed doors. If your existing deadbolt overlaps with the keypad door lock, move the deadbolt to the bottom hole and install the ApeStellar lock on top.

Operating Instructions

Unlocking with Fingerprint

Unlocking with Keypad Code

  • Auto-Lock Mode: The lock will automatically engage after a set period (e.g., 5 seconds) once the door is closed. This ensures your door is always secured.
  • Passage Mode: Ideal for periods when you need frequent access, such as during a party or moving items. In this mode, the lock remains unlocked until manually re-engaged. Activate/deactivate Passage Mode using the dedicated button on the interior side of the lock.
