3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Mounting the Tail Light
The ROCKBROS Magnetic Bike Tail Light offers versatile mounting options for secure attachment to your bicycle.
- Magnetic Seatpost Mounting:
Attach the magnetic mounting bracket to your bike's seatpost using the provided rubber straps. Ensure the bracket is firmly secured and does not move during riding. Once the bracket is in place, simply align the tail light with the magnetic base and it will snap securely into position. The strong magnetic hold ensures stability even on uneven terrain. - Alternative Mounting:
The light can also be attached to other suitable parts of your bike or gear using the rubber straps, ensuring it is visible from the rear.

3.2 Initial Charge
Before first use, fully charge the tail light. The device features a USB-C charging port for convenience.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button for 1.5 seconds to turn the light on or off.
- Mode Cycling: Short press the power button to cycle through the 7 available light modes: Single Flash, Double Flash, Strobe, Water Drop Flash, Breathing Flash, Back and Forth Flash, and Steady-On.

4.2 Intelligent Brake Sensor
The tail light is equipped with an intelligent brake sensor. When a decrease in speed is detected, the light will automatically activate a high-intensity flash for 1.5 seconds to alert vehicles behind you, significantly enhancing safety.

4.3 Dual Mode Operation (Automatic/Manual)
The tail light supports two operational modes:
- Automatic Mode: In this mode, the light will automatically turn off in sufficient light conditions and turn on when it's dark or when vibration is detected. It will also automatically enter sleep mode after 2 minutes of inactivity and reactivate upon sensing motion.
- Manual Mode: In manual mode, the light remains on continuously until manually turned off. Short press the button to switch between blinking modes.

4.4 Battery Indicator
The power button also serves as a battery level indicator:
- Green Light: Battery level is above 40%.
- Red Light: Battery level is between 5% and 40%.
- Blinking Red Light: Battery level is below 5% (low battery).
5. Maintenance
5.1 Charging
To charge the tail light, gently peel back the rubber cover on the USB-C port and connect the provided USB-C cable to a power source. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge can provide up to 36 hours of use in single flash mode.
5.2 Water Resistance
The tail light has an IPX6 waterproof rating, meaning it is protected against high-pressure water jets from any direction. This ensures reliable performance in various weather conditions, including heavy rain and splashes.

6. Troubleshooting
- Light not turning on: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Press and hold the power button for 1.5 seconds.
- Light not responding to motion/darkness in Auto Mode: Verify the light is in Automatic Mode. Ensure the sensor is not obstructed.
- Light falling off: Re-check the installation of the magnetic mounting bracket and ensure the rubber straps are tight. The magnetic connection should feel secure.
