1. Introduction

3. Assembly Instructions

Assembly typically takes approximately 20 minutes. Follow these steps carefully.

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert each of the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the chair base. Push firmly until they click into place.
2. Insert Gas Lift Cylinder: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled base.
3. Attach Mechanism Plate to Seat: Align the mechanism plate with the screw holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Ensure the front of the mechanism plate faces the front of the seat. Secure with screws from the hardware kit.
4. Attach Armrests to Seat: Attach the armrests to the sides of the seat cushion using the provided screws. Do not overtighten initially.
5. Attach Backrest to Seat and Armrests: Connect the backrest to the seat cushion and the armrests. Secure with screws. Once all connections are made, tighten all screws on the armrests and backrest.
6. Connect Seat Assembly to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the tapered end of the cylinder fits securely into the mechanism plate.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Seat Height Adjustment

To adjust the seat height, lift the lever located under the right side of the seat. To raise the seat, lift the lever while taking your weight off the seat. To lower the seat, lift the lever while remaining seated.

4.2. Adjustable Lumbar Support

The chair features an inflatable lumbar support system for personalized comfort.

• To Increase Support: Locate the air pump bulb on the side of the chair. Squeeze the bulb repeatedly to inflate the lumbar area to your desired firmness.
• To Decrease Support: Press and hold the deflation button on the air pump bulb to release air and reduce lumbar support.

4.3. 5D Adjustable Armrests

The armrests offer five dimensions of adjustment to optimize comfort and support for your arms and shoulders:

• Up & Down: Use the button on the side of the armrest to raise or lower its height.
• Forth & Back: Slide the armrest pad forward or backward.
• Left & Right (Slide): Slide the armrest pad horizontally.
• 360° Plane Rotation: Rotate the armrest pad horizontally to adjust its angle.
• 0°-90° Armrest Flip: The entire armrest can be flipped up to a 90-degree angle, allowing the chair to be pushed closer to a desk or for easier entry/exit.

4.4. Recline Function

To recline the backrest, pull the lever located on the left side of the seat. Lean back to your desired angle and push the lever back down to lock the position. To return to an upright position, pull the lever again and lean forward slightly.

6. Troubleshooting

• Chair Wobbles: Ensure all assembly screws are fully tightened. Check that the casters are securely inserted into the base.
• Chair Does Not Adjust Height: Verify that the gas lift cylinder is correctly seated in both the base and the mechanism plate. Ensure the height adjustment lever is fully engaged.
• Lumbar Support Not Inflating/Deflating: Check the air pump bulb for any damage or leaks. Ensure the deflation button is not stuck.
• Armrests Are Loose: Tighten the screws securing the armrests to the seat and backrest.
• Casters Not Rolling Smoothly: Inspect casters for trapped debris (hair, lint) and clean as necessary.
