7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Auxbeam LED Pods.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the lens covers with a soft cloth and mild soap solution to remove dirt, mud, or debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the lens.
- Inspection: Regularly check all mounting hardware and wiring connections for tightness and signs of wear or corrosion. Tighten any loose bolts and replace damaged wiring.
- Waterproofing: The lights are IP68 rated, featuring a pressure-stabilized design and a 0.01cm ultra-tight seal. Ensure the seals around the lens covers are intact after replacement to maintain water resistance. The moisture-free breather valve helps prevent condensation.
- Heat Management: The lights are built with a full copper board and premium aluminum housing for efficient heat dissipation. Ensure the fins on the back of the light are free from obstructions to allow proper airflow.
