The SJCAM ZV100 is a compact digital camera designed for capturing high-quality photos and videos. It features an 80MP sensor for still images and supports 5K video recording.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Battery

  1. Insert the included 750mAh battery into the camera's battery compartment. Ensure correct orientation.
  2. Connect the camera to a power source (e.g., computer USB port or USB wall adapter) using the provided Type-C USB cable.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. It will turn off or change color once charging is complete.

4.2 Inserting a Micro SD Card

A Micro SD card (not included) is required to store photos and videos. The camera supports cards up to 128GB (Class 10 or higher recommended).

  1. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side or bottom of the camera.
  2. Gently insert the Micro SD card with the gold contacts facing the camera's front until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, press the card inward until it springs out.

5. Operating the Camera

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power button (usually marked with Ⓘ) for a few seconds.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again until the camera shuts down.

5.2 Taking Photos

  1. Turn on the camera.
  2. Frame your shot using the LCD screen.
  3. Press the Shutter button halfway down to focus.
  4. Press the Shutter button fully to capture the photo.

5.3 Recording Videos

  1. Turn on the camera.
  2. Switch to video mode (refer to your camera's specific mode button or menu).
  3. Press the Shutter button to start recording. A red indicator or timer will appear on the screen.
  4. Press the Shutter button again to stop recording.

5.4 Using Digital Zoom

The ZV100 features 18X digital zoom. Use the 'W' (Wide) and 'T' (Telephoto) buttons, typically located near the shutter, to adjust the zoom level.

6. Connectivity

6.1 USB Quick Export

Connect the camera to your computer using the provided Type-C USB cable to transfer photos and videos. The camera will appear as a removable drive, allowing you to copy files directly.

6.2 Webcam Functionality

The ZV100 can be used as a webcam. Connect the camera to your computer via USB. In your computer's settings or video conferencing software, select the ZV100 as your video input device.
