1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the EAFC 1200A Car Jump Starter. This portable device is designed to provide emergency jump-starting for 12V vehicles (up to 6.0L gasoline or 4.0L diesel engines), as well as serving as a power bank for electronic devices and an LED flashlight. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure safe and optimal operation.

2. Important Safety Information

Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Upon receiving the product, it is essential to fully discharge the unit by turning on the flashlight until it turns off, then fully charge it for at least 4 hours before its first use. This procedure helps to prolong the product's service life.
  • Always ensure the jump starter has at least three bars of power (or over 60% charge) before attempting to jump-start a vehicle.
  • Verify that the vehicle battery terminals are clean and free of corrosion.
  • Ensure the blue port of the smart clamps is fully inserted into the jump starter.
  • Connect the clamps securely to the vehicle battery's positive (+) and negative (-) terminals, ensuring maximum contact area and stability.
  • After connecting the clamps, wait 2 to 3 minutes before proceeding. This reduces the load on the jump starter.
  • Do not continuously crank the engine. If the car does not start on the first attempt, wait at least 30 seconds before trying again.
  • NEVER reverse the positive and negative connections.
  • NEVER allow the two clamps to touch each other (short-circuit).
  • Remove the smart clamps from the vehicle battery within 30 seconds after successfully starting the car.
  • Violation of these points may cause damage to the jump starter's fuse box or the vehicle's electrical system.
  • Operate within the specified temperature range of -20°C (-4°F) to 60°C (140°F).

  3. Once fully charged, the jump starter is ready for use. This initial discharge and charge process helps to optimize battery performance and longevity.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Jump Starting a Vehicle

Follow these steps carefully to jump-start your vehicle:

  1. Check Jump Starter Charge: Ensure the jump starter has at least 60% (three bars) of charge.
  2. Prepare Vehicle: Turn off the vehicle's ignition and all accessories (lights, radio, AC). Engage the parking brake.
  3. Connect Clamps to Jump Starter: Firmly insert the blue plug of the smart jumper clamps into the jump starter's output port. Ensure it is fully seated.
  4. Connect to Vehicle Battery:
    • Attach the RED (+) clamp to the vehicle battery's positive (+) terminal.
    • Attach the BLACK (-) clamp to the vehicle battery's negative (-) terminal.
Ensure the clamps make good contact with the battery terminals and are stable.
  5. Wait: After connecting, wait 2 to 3 minutes before proceeding. This allows the jump starter to stabilize and reduce the initial load.
  6. Start Vehicle: Attempt to start your vehicle. If it doesn't start immediately, wait at least 30 seconds before trying again. Do not crank continuously for more than 3 seconds.
  7. Remove Clamps: Once the vehicle starts, immediately remove the smart clamps from the vehicle battery within 30 seconds. First, remove the BLACK (-) clamp, then the RED (+) clamp.
