3. Assembly Instructions

The kit is designed for easy assembly with pre-drilled holes and quick-connect electronics. No soldering is required for the basic wiring. Follow these steps carefully:

3.1. Headstock Assembly

  1. Install the tuning knobs onto the headstock. Ensure the screws are tightened in sequence for a secure fit.
  2. Place the gasket and nut onto each tuning knob from the front of the headstock and secure them with the provided wrench.
  3. Install the string tree (if included) on the headstock.

3.2. Body Assembly

  1. Install the bridge onto the guitar body. Ensure it is aligned correctly with the pre-drilled holes and tighten the screws securely.
  2. Thread the pickup wires through the designated holes in the body, routing them towards the control cavity.
  3. Install the HH pickups into their respective cavities. Secure them with the provided screws.
  4. Connect the quick-connect wires from the pickups to the corresponding quick-connect terminals on the pre-wired control plate (volume/tone knobs and pickup selector switch). Match colors (e.g., red to red, yellow to yellow).
  5. Carefully place the wired control plate into the control cavity. Secure the output jack to the side of the body.
  6. Install the strap buttons on the body, using the provided washers to ensure a snug fit.

3.3. Neck-to-Body Joint

  1. Carefully insert the neck into the neck pocket of the body. Ensure a tight fit with no gaps.
  2. Align the neck plate over the pre-drilled holes on the back of the body and neck. Secure the neck to the body using the provided screws.

3.4. Stringing the Guitar

  1. Thread the non-ball end of each string through the corresponding hole at the back of the bridge.
  2. Pull each string up towards the headstock and thread it through the tuning peg hole.
  3. Use the string winder to tighten the strings by turning the tuning pegs counter-clockwise. Install all six strings from thickest to thinnest.
