  • Adjustments: Ensure all adjustment mechanisms are fully engaged and secure after making any changes to handle or seat height.
  • Folding: Exercise caution when folding or unfolding the rollator to prevent pinching.

3. Setup and Assembly

The VOCIC Z21 Rollator Walker is designed for tool-free assembly. Follow these steps:

  1. Unfold the Main Body: Carefully pull the sides of the rollator apart until the frame locks into its open position.
  2. Attach Front Wheels: Align the side labeled "A" on the front wheel assembly with the corresponding slot on the rollator frame. Insert the wheel assembly until the locking pin snaps into place. Repeat for the other front wheel, ensuring side "B" matches.
  3. Attach Rear Wheels/Handlebars: Similar to the front wheels, align the rear wheel/handlebar assemblies with their respective slots on the main frame. Insert and ensure the locking pins are fully engaged.
  4. Handle Brake Assembly: Loosen the preinstalled screws on the handlebar brake mounts. Slide the brake handles onto the handlebars and tighten the screws securely. Ensure the brake cables are routed correctly and not pinched.
  5. Bind Brake Cables: Secure the brake cables to the frame using the provided clips to prevent them from dangling or interfering with the wheels.
  6. Attach Storage Bag: Hook the storage bag onto the designated attachment points beneath the seat. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  7. Attach Backrest: Slide the backrest onto the designated posts at the rear of the seat. Ensure it clicks into place securely.

4. Operating Instructions

Walking with the Rollator

  • Stand upright behind the rollator, holding both handles firmly.
  • Push the rollator forward a comfortable distance.
  • Step forward with one foot, then the other, maintaining a steady pace.
  • Keep your body close to the rollator for optimal balance and support.

Using the Brakes

The Z21 Rollator features a highly sensitive braking system with three modes: free, deceleration, and stop.

  • Deceleration/Stopping: Squeeze the brake levers gently to slow down or firmly to stop.
  • Parking Brake: To engage the parking brake, push the brake levers down until they lock into place. This prevents the rollator from moving when you sit or stand. Pull the levers up to release.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Rollator unstable: Ensure all locking pins are fully engaged after assembly and adjustments. Check that the frame is fully unfolded and locked.
