3. Setup & Installation
Professional installation is recommended. Ensure the vehicle's battery is disconnected before beginning installation to prevent electrical damage.
3.1. Compatibility Check
This unit is compatible with Mazda 5 models from 2007 to 2010. It is designed for vehicles with the low-end radio version and without a large factory navigation screen. Please compare your vehicle's dashboard with the images below before proceeding.

3.2. General Wiring Connections
Connect the power cable, RCA cables, USB cables, GPS antenna, and external microphone according to the provided wiring harness. Ensure all connections are secure.
3.3. Reversing Camera Installation
The included AHD rear view camera provides a clear image when reversing. Follow these steps for installation:
- Connect the red wire of the camera to the positive pole of the car's reversing light.
- Connect the black wire of the camera to the negative pole of the car's reversing light.
- Connect the video signal cable from the camera to the "Rear Camera Input" on the stereo unit.
- The reversing trigger is controlled by the stereo; no separate trigger wire connection is typically required for the stereo itself.

3.4. Steering Wheel Control (SWC) Setup
To enable steering wheel controls, follow these steps:
- After connecting the power cable, navigate to Car Settings > General > SWC Type.
- Select "Learning Type".
- Enter the SWC setting interface and follow the on-screen prompts to program each steering wheel button. If learning fails, repeat the process.

Note: Some installations may require splicing into the car harness for steering wheel control functionality, especially if the vehicle's original wiring differs. Consult a professional if unsure.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
Connect your smartphone wirelessly to access navigation, music, calls, and messages directly on the stereo display.
- Enable Bluetooth on your iPhone/Android phone and pair it with the car radio.
- Open the "Zlink" application on the car stereo.
- If connection fails, connect your phone to the car stereo's hotspot, then reopen the "Zlink" app. Maintain Bluetooth and hotspot connections for stable operation.

4.2. GPS Navigation
The unit supports both online and offline navigation applications such as Waze and Google Maps. Ensure the GPS antenna is properly installed for optimal signal reception.

4.3. WiFi Connection

4.9. Split Screen Functionality

5. Maintenance

- Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Do not expose the unit to extreme heat or cold for extended periods, as this can affect performance and lifespan.
- Cable Management: Ensure all cables are properly routed and secured to prevent damage from vibration or accidental pulling.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1. No Sound Output
If you experience no sound from the stereo, check the following:
- Verify that the volume is not muted or set to a very low level.
- Ensure all speaker wires are correctly connected to the stereo and the vehicle's speakers.
- If using an external amplifier, confirm the AMP cable from the RCA output is connected to the ACC cable of the power harness.
- Check the "Car Amplifier" setting in the stereo's system menu.

6.2. Steering Wheel Controls Not Working
If steering wheel controls are unresponsive after installation:
- Re-verify all wiring connections for the steering wheel control interface.
- Repeat the "Learning Type" setup process as described in Section 3.4.
- Ensure your vehicle's original radio was a low-end version without a large navigation screen, as this unit is not compatible with CANBUS systems.
6.3. Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto Connectivity Issues
If you encounter problems connecting to CarPlay or Android Auto:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled and paired on your phone and the stereo.
- Confirm the "Zlink" app is open on the stereo.
- Try connecting your phone to the stereo's WiFi hotspot if direct Bluetooth connection fails, then reopen "Zlink".
- Restart both your phone and the car stereo.
