Setup
1. Battery Installation
The alarm unit requires 3 AAA batteries. Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries.
Video: Instructions on how to replace the batteries in the Cruxer bike alarm unit. It shows using a screwdriver to remove a small screw, prying open the casing, replacing the three AAA batteries, and then reassembling the unit.

- Extract the spent batteries from inside the alarm and insert the new ones. The alarm emitting three "beeps" indicates successful battery replacement.
- Align the protective cover with the alarm's mounting points and replace it, then secure the small screw at the base.
2. Mounting the Alarm
The Cruxer Bike Alarm offers two installation methods: using the provided strap or double-sided adhesive tape. Choose the method most suitable for your application (e.g., bicycle frame, seat post, scooter, motorcycle, or even windows/doors).
Video: Demonstrates two installation methods for the Cruxer bike alarm: using double-sided adhesive tape for flat surfaces and using cable ties (straps) for cylindrical objects like a bike seat post.
- Strap Installation: Use the provided straps to secure the alarm to any object smaller than the strap's shrinkage range, such as a bicycle seat post or frame.
- Double-Sided Tape Installation: For smooth, flat surfaces, apply the double-sided tape to the back of the alarm and firmly press it onto the desired location.
