4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning the Probe and Lens

  • After each use, especially in dirty or oily environments, gently wipe the probe and camera lens with a soft, damp cloth.
  • For stubborn residue, use a small amount of isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab, ensuring no liquid enters the probe's internal components.
  • Ensure the lens is clean and free of smudges for optimal image clarity.

4.2 Storage

  • Store the borescope in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Avoid kinking or sharply bending the probe cable during storage to prevent damage.
  • Keep the device and accessories in their original packaging or a protective case when not in use.

4.3 Battery Care

  • Recharge the device regularly, even if not used frequently, to maintain battery health.
  • Do not expose the battery to high temperatures or attempt to disassemble it.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 No Image Displayed

  • Ensure the borescope unit is powered on and fully charged.
  • Verify that your mobile device is connected to the 'HD WiFi' network.
  • Check if the 'HD WiFi' app is open and has the necessary permissions.
  • Restart both the borescope unit and the 'HD WiFi' app.

5.2 Poor Image Quality

  • Clean the camera lens as described in the Maintenance section.
  • Adjust the LED brightness to suit the inspection environment.
  • Ensure the object being inspected is within the optimal focal length of 3-10 cm.
