5. Setup

5.2 Connecting Jumper Cables

- Connect the smart clamp to the EC5 port on the jump starter. The LED on the smart clamp will flash red and green.
- Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive terminal of your vehicle's battery.
- Connect the black (-) clamp to the negative terminal of your vehicle's battery.
- The smart clamp LED will turn solid green, indicating it's ready to jump-start.
- Start your vehicle's engine.
- Once the engine starts, immediately remove the clamps from the vehicle battery, then disconnect the smart clamp from the jump starter.
