Setup

1. Battery Installation and Charging

1. Align the 2200mAh Li-ion battery with the battery compartment on the back of the RT-920 unit.
2. Gently slide the battery into place until it clicks securely.
3. Connect the Type-C charging cable to the radio's charging port and the other end to the provided power supply with a USB port.
4. Plug the power supply into a standard electrical outlet. The charging indicator on the radio will illuminate.
5. Allow the battery to fully charge before first use.

2. Antenna Attachment

1. Screw the dual-band antenna clockwise onto the antenna connector at the top of the RT-920 unit until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.

3. Belt Clip Attachment

1. Align the belt clip with the two screw holes on the back of the radio unit.
2. Secure the belt clip using the provided screws.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off and Volume Control

• To power on the radio, rotate the top-left knob clockwise. Continue rotating to adjust the volume.
• To power off, rotate the knob counter-clockwise until it clicks.

Channel and Frequency Selection

• The RT-920 supports both Channel Mode and Frequency Mode. Use the Band V/M button to switch between modes.
• In Channel Mode, use the up/down arrow keys to navigate through programmed channels.
• In Frequency Mode, use the keypad to directly input frequencies or the up/down arrow keys to scan.

Push-to-Talk (PTT) Button

• Press and hold the large button on the left side of the radio to transmit. Release to receive.
