1. Overview

The Pelsee S3 Touch 4K Dash Cam is a comprehensive vehicle recording system designed to enhance driving safety and provide reliable evidence. It features front 4K HDR and rear 1080P HD recording, advanced STARVIS 2 sensor with STARLIT Full Color Night Vision, and a user-friendly 3.39-inch IPS touchscreen. Integrated voice control, ADAS intelligent driving assistance, 24/7 parking monitoring, WiFi 6, and GPS tracking offer a complete solution for monitoring your vehicle.

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, it is recommended to charge the dash cam for 4 hours. The internal RTC battery may be depleted during shipping, which can affect the time display.

3.2 Mounting the Front Camera

1. Clean the selected area on your windshield thoroughly with the provided dry wipe to ensure it is free of dust or debris.
2. Firmly press the suction cup mount against the windshield to remove any air. Turn the part with the GPS module counter-clockwise to achieve a strong suction.
3. Attach the front dash camera to the mount.

3.3 Installing the Rear Camera

1. Clean the selected spot for attaching the static sticker on the rear windshield, ensuring it's free of bubbles and dirt.
2. Apply the static sticker and then attach the rear camera to it using the adhesive pad.
3. Connect the rear camera to the front camera using the provided rear camera cable.

3.4 Power Connection and Cable Management

1. Connect the car charger adapter to your vehicle's power outlet and the USB cable to the front dash camera.
2. Use the easy pry tool to tuck the power and rear camera cables behind your vehicle's trim for a neat installation. Secure cables with adhesive cable clips as needed.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Recording and Loop Recording

The dash cam automatically begins recording when powered on. It supports loop recording, which continuously records video in segments. When the memory card is full, the oldest unlocked footage is overwritten by new recordings. The included 128GB memory card provides ample storage.

4.2 Voice Control and Touch Screen

Operate the dash cam hands-free using voice commands or through the responsive 3.39-inch IPS touchscreen. Common voice commands include: "Open Recording", "Lock the Video", "Show Front Camera", "Take Picture", "Turn off Recording", "Turn off Display", and "Open Screen".

4.3 ADAS Intelligent Driving Assistant

The Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) provides real-time alerts to enhance driving safety. These include:

• Forward Collision Warning: Alerts if you are approaching a vehicle too quickly.
• Pedestrian Collision Warning: Warns of potential collisions with pedestrians.
• Lane Departure Warning: Notifies you if the vehicle drifts out of its lane.

4.4 24/7 Parking Monitoring

With a built-in high-sensitivity G-sensor, the dash cam automatically triggers video lockdown upon collision or scrape, protecting critical evidence. For 24-hour continuous time-lapse recording and full parking surveillance, an optional hardwire kit (ASIN: BOF93QBZOT) is required.

4.5 5.8GHz WiFi 6 & GPS Tracking

The integrated 5.8GHz WiFi 6 allows for real-time video previews via the Pelsee Cam app on your smartphone. You can download, edit, and share videos at speeds up to 30MB/s. The built-in GPS precisely tracks your vehicle's location and speed, which can be viewed through the app.

• Lens Cleaning: Regularly clean the front and rear camera lenses with a soft, lint-free cloth to ensure clear recording quality.

• Time Display Issue: If the dash cam's time displays 2024 or an earlier time, the internal RTC battery may be depleted. Ensure the dash cam is charged for at least 4 hours before its first use.
• Parking Mode Not Working: Verify that an extra hardwire kit is installed correctly for 24/7 parking monitoring.
• Poor Suction Mount: Ensure the windshield surface is clean and dry before applying the suction cup. Rotate the mount to activate strong suction.
• App Connectivity Issues: Ensure your smartphone is connected to the dash cam's 5.8GHz WiFi network.
