2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation for Compass Illumination

The internal compass features an illumination function for low-light conditions. This requires two LR43 coin cell batteries.

1. Locate the battery compartment, typically on the top or side of the binocular housing, often marked with a small rubber cap.
2. Carefully remove the rubber cap, which may have a 'remove' or 'CCW' (counter-clockwise) arrow.
3. Insert the two LR43 coin cell batteries with the correct polarity, usually positive (+) side up.
4. Replace the rubber cap securely to maintain waterproof sealing.

2.2 Attaching the Neck Strap

Attach the provided neck strap to the strap lugs on each side of the binoculars. Ensure the strap is securely fastened to prevent accidental drops.
