5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Powering On/Off and Mode Selection
- To Power On: Slide the pendulum lock to the unlocked position. The laser level will automatically enter self-leveling mode.
- Self-Leveling Mode: In this mode, the laser level will automatically adjust to project a level line within ±4°. If the device is outside this range, the laser lines will blink rapidly to indicate it is out of level.
- Manual Mode (Tilt Mode): To activate manual mode, ensure the pendulum is in the locked position. Press and hold the power button for at least 2 seconds. In manual mode, the laser lines are locked and can be projected at any angle. Note that auto-leveling is disabled in this mode, and the laser lines may blink periodically to remind you it's in manual mode.
- Line Selection: Use the dedicated buttons on the control panel to select horizontal, vertical, or a combination of laser lines as needed for your task.
- To Power Off: Slide the pendulum lock to the locked position. If in manual mode, press and hold the power button until the laser turns off, then slide the pendulum to the locked position.

6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
Regularly clean the laser level to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
6.2. Storage
When not in use, store the laser level in its provided storage bag in a dry, cool place. Ensure the pendulum lock is engaged to protect the internal mechanism during storage and transport.
6.3. Durability
The YEVOLT YVGLL4XS12 is built with an IP54 rating, making it resistant to dust accumulation and splashing water. This design protects internal components and extends the product's lifespan.
7. Troubleshooting
- Laser lines blinking rapidly: This indicates the device is outside its self-leveling range (±4°). Adjust the position of the laser level until the lines become steady.
- Laser not turning on: Check if the pendulum lock is in the unlocked position. Ensure the battery is charged and properly inserted.
- Laser lines are dim: Ensure the battery is fully charged. In bright environments, visibility may naturally decrease; consider using laser enhancement glasses (if available) or working in lower light conditions.
- Laser lines are not level in manual mode: This is expected behavior. Manual mode locks the lines at a specific angle, disabling the self-leveling function.
