6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your VIMIN 16 Port 2.5G Unmanaged Ethernet Switch, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Power:
- Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the switch and a working power outlet.
- Verify that the power outlet is functional.
- Check if the PWR LED indicator is illuminated.
- No Link Light for a Connected Device:
- Confirm that the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the switch port and the network device.
- Try a different Ethernet cable to rule out cable damage.
- Ensure the connected network device is powered on and functioning correctly.
- Check the cable type meets the requirements for the desired speed (refer to Section 3.1).
- Slow Network Speed:
- Verify that your network devices and cables support 2.5G Ethernet for optimal performance.
- Ensure there are no other network bottlenecks (e.g., router, internet service provider speed).
- Check for excessive network traffic or interference.
If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact technical support.
