2. Setup
2.1 Battery Installation
The alarm clock requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). For optimal performance and to prevent display malfunctions or alarm failures, use carbon batteries. Avoid using alkaline batteries, as their high current output may affect timekeeping accuracy or damage the movement.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock (refer to Figure 1).
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2 new AAA carbon batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).

3. Operating Instructions
The clock features four control buttons on the back: MODE, SET, ADJ (Adjust), and TIMER. The top button serves as the SNOOZE button.
3.1 Setting Time and Date
To set the time and date, follow these steps:
- Press the MODE button once to enter time setting mode. The hour digits will flash.
- Use the ADJ button to adjust the hour.
- Press MODE again to move to minute setting. Use ADJ to adjust minutes.
- Continue pressing MODE to cycle through setting the year, month, and day, using ADJ to change values for each.
- After setting the day, press MODE one last time to exit setting mode.
3.2 12/24 Hour Display

To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour display, locate the small switch labeled "12/24" on the back of the clock (refer to Figure 1) and slide it to your desired setting.
3.3 Setting the Alarm
To set the daily alarm:
- Press the SET button once. The alarm time will appear, and the hour digits will flash.
- Use the ADJ button to set the desired alarm hour.
- Press SET again to move to minute setting. Use ADJ to set the desired alarm minutes.
- Press SET one last time to confirm and exit alarm setting mode.
3.4 Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE button located on the top of the clock. The alarm will temporarily stop and will sound again after five minutes. To turn off the alarm completely, either let it ring for one minute without operation or press any button on the back of the clock.

3.5 Temperature Display
The clock displays the indoor temperature. The temperature range is 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F) with an accuracy of ±1.5°F.

To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), locate the small switch labeled "°C/°F" on the back of the clock (refer to Figure 1) and slide it to your preferred unit.
