5. Maintenance and Care

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and safety of your ROBUD Mud Kitchen.

  • Cleaning: Wipe down all surfaces with a damp cloth and mild soap as needed. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For wooden parts, dry immediately after cleaning to prevent water damage.
  • Water Tap: Regularly clean the sink basin and water reservoir. Ensure the reservoir is emptied after each play session to prevent mold or mildew growth.
  • Storage: While designed for outdoor use, storing the mud kitchen in a covered area or indoors during prolonged periods of rain or extreme weather will extend its lifespan.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and connections for tightness. Tighten any loose fasteners. Inspect wooden parts for splinters or cracks and sand smooth if necessary.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your mud kitchen, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Loose Parts: If any parts become loose, re-tighten the corresponding screws or bolts. Do not overtighten.
  • Water Tap Not Working: Ensure the water reservoir is filled and the tap mechanism is correctly installed and free from obstructions.
  • Stability Issues: Check that the mud kitchen is placed on a flat, level surface. Verify all assembly connections are secure.
  • Damaged Components: If a component is broken or severely damaged, discontinue use and contact customer support for replacement parts.
