4. Safety Information
Read and understand all safety instructions before using this product. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not operate the unit if it is damaged.
- Do not jump-start a frozen battery.
- Ensure proper polarity connection (red to positive, black to negative) to avoid sparks and damage.
- Do not connect the positive and negative clamps together.
- Do not expose the unit to rain or extreme temperatures.
- Do not disassemble the unit. Refer servicing to qualified personnel.
- Wear eye protection when jump-starting a vehicle.
- Ensure the area is well-ventilated when jump-starting.

5. Setup
5.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the AIMAPOW A40. Connect the included USB-C charging cable to the unit's USB-C input port and a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The display will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes several hours.
5.2 Understanding the Display and Controls
Familiarize yourself with the unit's display and buttons:
- Digital Display: Shows battery level, air pressure (PSI, BAR, KPA, kg/cm²), and operational status.
- 'M' Button: Mode selection (e.g., for air compressor pressure units).
- '+' / '-' Buttons: Adjust settings (e.g., target air pressure).
- 'OK' Button: Confirm selection or start/stop functions.
- Light Button: Activates and cycles through LED light modes.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Jump Starting a Vehicle
Ensure the jump starter is at least 50% charged before attempting to jump-start a vehicle.
- Turn off the vehicle's ignition and all accessories.
- Connect the red (+) clamp of the smart cable to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
- Connect the black (-) clamp of the smart cable to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
- Plug the smart cable connector into the jump starter's jump-start port. The jump starter's display should show a ready status.
- Start the vehicle's engine. If it doesn't start immediately, wait 30 seconds and try again. Do not crank for more than 3 seconds per attempt.
- Once the vehicle starts, immediately disconnect the smart cable from the jump starter, then disconnect the black (-) clamp, followed by the red (+) clamp from the vehicle battery.
Forced Start Function: If the jump starter does not detect the battery or the battery is completely dead, press and hold the 'RST' (Reset/Force Start) button on the smart clamp for 3 seconds until the indicator light turns solid green. Then proceed with step 5.

6.2 Using the Air Compressor
The integrated air compressor can inflate tires and other inflatables.
- Connect the flexible air hose to the air output port on the jump starter.
- Attach the appropriate air nozzle to the air hose and then to the item you wish to inflate (e.g., tire valve).
- Press the 'M' button to select the desired pressure unit (PSI, BAR, KPA, kg/cm²).
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the target pressure.
- Press the 'OK' button to start inflation. The compressor will automatically stop once the target pressure is reached.
- Disconnect the air hose and nozzle.

6.3 Using as a Portable Power Bank
The AIMAPOW A40 can charge your electronic devices.
- Connect your device's charging cable to one of the USB output ports (USB1 or USB2) on the jump starter.
- The jump starter will automatically begin charging your device.

6.4 Using the LED Light
The built-in LED light provides illumination in various situations.
- Press the Light button once to turn on the steady bright light.
- Press again for Strobe mode (flashing light).
- Press a third time for SOS mode (Morse code signal).
- Press a fourth time to turn off the light.

7.1 Charging
Recharge the unit after each use, especially after jump-starting a vehicle. For optimal battery life, charge the unit every 3-6 months if not in regular use.
7.2 Storage
