4. Setup

4.1 Inserting the Micro SD Card

  1. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the camera.
  2. Gently insert a Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included) into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted in the correct orientation.

4.2 Charging the Camera

Before first use, fully charge the camera. Connect the camera to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter) using the provided USB cable. The indicator light will show charging status (refer to the manual for specific light indicators).

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Long press the "Power Key" until the indicator light turns on.
  • Power Off: Long press the "Power Key" until the indicator light turns off.

5.2 Recording Video

  1. Ensure a Micro SD card is inserted.
  2. Power on the camera.
  3. Long press the "Power Key" to enter video recording mode.
  4. Shortly press the "Power Key" again to start recording. The indicator light will flash to indicate recording is in progress.
  5. To stop recording, short press the "Power Key" once more. The video file will be saved.

5.3 Taking Photos

  1. Ensure a Micro SD card is inserted.
  2. Power on the camera.
  3. Press the "Mode Key" to switch to photo mode. The blue indicator light will illuminate.
  4. Press the "Power Button" (shutter) to take a photo. The indicator light will flash once.

5.4 Night Vision Mode

The camera features 6 invisible IR LEDs for night vision. When activated, the video will be recorded in black and white.

5.5 Motion Detection Recording

When motion detection is enabled, the camera will automatically begin recording when movement is detected within its field of view, and stop when motion ceases, saving battery and storage.

6. Connecting to Computer / Viewing Files

To access recorded videos and photos, you can connect the camera directly to a computer or use the provided card reader.

6.1 Using the USB Cable

  1. Ensure the camera is powered off.

  3. The camera will appear as a removable disk drive. Open the drive to access your files.

6.2 Using the Card Reader

  1. Remove the Micro SD card from the camera.
  2. Insert the Micro SD card into the provided card reader.
