1. Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your CCGIRU Portable Electric PTC Ceramic Space Heater, Model XY-612. Please read this manual thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.

2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

• Read all instructions before using this heater.
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater.

• Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
• Tip-Over Protection: The heater is equipped with a safety switch that automatically turns off the unit if it is accidentally tipped over. Ensure the heater is placed on a stable, flat surface for proper operation.

4. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage.
2. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure it is at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) away from walls, furniture, and other combustible materials. Do not place it on soft surfaces like rugs or carpets that could block air vents.
3. Power Connection: Ensure the heater is turned OFF before plugging it into a 120V AC, 60Hz electrical outlet. Do not use an extension cord or power strip.

5. Operating Instructions

The heater features a control knob on the top for selecting operating modes and adjusting the thermostat.

1. Power On: Plug the heater into a suitable electrical outlet.
2. Select Mode: Rotate the control knob to choose one of the following settings:
   • Fan Only (≈): Activates the fan without heat, circulating ambient air.
   • Low Heat (≈≈): Provides 900 watts of heating power for moderate warmth.
   • High Heat (≈≈≈): Provides 1500 watts of heating power for maximum warmth.
