3. Setup

3.1 Speaker Placement

For optimal sound, place the speakers on a stable surface such as a desktop or speaker stands. The 6-degree tilted design is specifically engineered for desktop listening, directing sound towards your ears. Ensure there is adequate space around the speakers for proper sound dispersion and to prevent obstruction of the rear port (if applicable).

3.2 Connecting to an Amplifier

The AIYIMA P600 are passive speakers and require an external amplifier or AV receiver to operate. Follow these steps to connect your speakers:

  1. Ensure your amplifier/receiver is turned off and unplugged from the power outlet.
  2. Use high-quality speaker wire to connect the speakers to the amplifier. Match the positive (+) terminal on the speaker (red) to the positive (+) terminal on the amplifier, and the negative (-) terminal on the speaker (black) to the negative (-) terminal on the amplifier.
  3. The P600 speakers feature gold-plated binding posts for secure and efficient connections. Unscrew the binding post cap, insert the stripped speaker wire, and tighten the cap firmly.
  4. Once both speakers are connected, plug in and turn on your amplifier/receiver.

4. Operating Instructions

Once properly connected to an amplifier, the AIYIMA P600 speakers are ready for use. Control volume and source selection through your connected amplifier or audio source device. Ensure the amplifier's power output is within the recommended range for the P600 speakers (up to 150 Watts) to prevent damage.

5. Maintenance

To maintain the appearance and performance of your AIYIMA P600 speakers, follow these guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the speaker cabinets. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish.
  • Dust Removal: Gently use a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust from the speaker cones and grilles.
  • Environment: Keep speakers away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, moisture, and extreme temperature changes.
  • Handling: Avoid touching the speaker cones directly, as this can cause damage.
