2.1 Components

3. Setup and Assembly
The iENYRID M4 Pro S+ Electric Scooter comes partially assembled. Follow these steps to prepare your scooter for its first ride.
3.1 Unfolding the Scooter
- Place the scooter on a flat surface.
- Locate the folding mechanism near the base of the steering column.
- Release the locking lever and carefully lift the steering column until it clicks into place in the upright position.
- Secure the safety latch to prevent accidental folding.

3.2 Handlebar Attachment and Adjustment
- Insert the handlebars into the top of the steering column.
- Ensure the handlebars are aligned and secure the clamping mechanism.
- Adjust the handlebar height to a comfortable position using the quick-release lever. Ensure it is securely locked before riding.
3.3 Seat Installation (Optional)
- If using the seat, attach the seat post to the designated slot on the scooter deck.
- Tighten any fasteners to secure the seat firmly.
- Adjust the seat height for comfort.

3.4 Initial Battery Charge
- Before first use, fully charge the scooter's battery.
- Locate the charging port, typically on the side of the deck.
- Connect the charger to the scooter, then plug it into a power outlet.
- The charging indicator on the charger will change color (e.g., red to green) when fully charged. Charging time is approximately 6-8 hours.
- Do not overcharge. Disconnect the charger once charging is complete.
4. Operating Instructions
Familiarize yourself with the controls and riding modes before operating the scooter.
4.1 Power On/Off
- To power on, press and hold the power button on the LCD display until the screen illuminates.
- To power off, press and hold the power button again until the screen turns off.
4.2 Riding Modes and Speed Adjustment
The scooter features three speed modes:
- Mode 1: Approximately 15 km/h (9 mph)
- Mode 2: Approximately 30 km/h (18 mph)
- Mode 3: Approximately 45 km/h (28 mph)
Press the mode button on the display to cycle through the speed modes. Select a mode appropriate for your environment and skill level.

4.3 Starting and Riding
- Place one foot on the deck and push off with the other foot to gain initial momentum.
- Once moving, gently press the throttle lever to engage the motor.
- Maintain balance and steer by leaning and turning the handlebars.
- To slow down or stop, release the throttle and gently squeeze the brake levers. The scooter is equipped with dual disc brakes and an E-ABS anti-lock system for efficient stopping.

4.4 Lights
The scooter is equipped with a headlight, taillight, and body side lights for enhanced visibility. Use the headlight switch on the handlebars to activate them, especially when riding in low-light conditions.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your scooter.
- Cleaning: Wipe the scooter with a damp cloth. Do not use high-pressure water or immerse the scooter in water.
- Tires: Check tire pressure regularly. Maintain recommended pressure for optimal performance and safety. Inspect for wear and damage.
- Brakes: Periodically check brake pads and cables for wear. Adjust as necessary to ensure effective braking.
- Battery Care:
- Charge the battery fully after each use.
- If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to 50-70% and recharge every 30-60 days.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Fasteners: Regularly check all screws and bolts for tightness.
