1. Important Safety Instructions

3. Installation

The FIREGAS ceramic hob is designed for built-in installation. Ensure your countertop is compatible with the specified dimensions. Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician.

3.1 Dimensions and Cut-out:

3.2 Electrical Connection:

The appliance requires a fixed connection to the electrical mains. It is not compatible with standard EU Schuko plugs. A qualified electrician must perform the connection.

4. Operating Instructions

The hob features intuitive touch controls for easy operation.

4.1 Control Panel:

The control panel is located at the front of the hob. It includes power on/off, zone selection, power level slider, timer, pause function, and child lock.

4.2 Power Levels:

Adjust cooking intensity using the slider control, offering 9 power levels from low (1) to high (9).

4.3 Cooking Zones:

The hob features four cooking zones, including a dual zone and an oval extensible zone for versatile cooking.

4.4 Timer Function:

Each cooking zone can be programmed with an independent timer up to 99 minutes. The zone will automatically switch off once the set time expires.

4.5 Safety Features:

  • Child Lock: Activates to prevent accidental changes to settings or activation of the hob.
  • Residual Heat Indicator: An 'H' symbol on the display indicates that a cooking zone is still hot after use. Do not touch the surface until the indicator disappears.
  • Automatic Shut-off: The hob will automatically turn off after a certain period if no operation is detected, or if a cooking zone exceeds safe temperatures.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your ceramic hob.

5.1 Cleaning the Hob Surface:

  • Always ensure the hob is switched off and completely cool before cleaning.
  • Use a soft cloth or sponge with a mild detergent and warm water.
  • For stubborn stains, use a ceramic hob scraper or a specialized ceramic hob cleaner. Follow the product instructions.
  • Wipe dry with a clean cloth to prevent water marks.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals as they can damage the glass surface.

6. Troubleshooting
