3.1 Unpacking and Inspection

  • Carefully remove the hob from its packaging.
  • Inspect the appliance for any damage during transit. Do not install if damaged.
  • Verify all components listed in the 'What's in the Box' section are present.

3.2 Built-in Installation

  1. Prepare a countertop opening with dimensions of approximately 490mm x 262mm. Refer to the product dimensions for precise measurements (52P x 29l x 4.4H cm).
  2. Apply the provided sealing strip around the edge of the hob to prevent liquid ingress.
  3. Carefully lower the hob into the prepared opening. Ensure it sits flush with the countertop.
  4. Connect the appliance to a suitable 220V electrical outlet. Ensure the connection is made by a qualified electrician if necessary.

3.3 Freestanding Use

  1. Attach the provided rubber feet to the bottom of the hob.
  2. Place the hob on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
  3. Ensure there is sufficient space around the appliance for ventilation.
  4. Plug the appliance into a suitable 220V electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

The ceramic hob features an intuitive touch control panel for easy operation.

4.1 Power On/Off

  • To turn on: Touch the Power button (). The indicators will light up.
  • To turn off: Touch the Power button again.

4.2 Adjusting Power Levels

  • After turning on, select the desired cooking zone by touching its corresponding zone selection button.
  • Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the power level from 1 to 9.
  • The display will show the current power level.

4.3 Using the Timer

  • With a cooking zone active, touch the Timer button ().
  • Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the desired cooking time (up to 99 minutes).
  • The timer will count down, and the hob will automatically shut off the selected zone when the time expires.

4.4 Child Lock Function

  • To activate: Press and hold the Child Lock button (🔒) for a few seconds until 'Lo' appears on the display. All controls will be locked.
  • To deactivate: Press and hold the Child Lock button again until 'Lo' disappears.

4.5 Residual Heat Indicator

  • After a cooking zone is turned off, if its temperature is still above a safe level, an 'H' will appear on the display for that zone.
  • Do not touch the cooking zone while 'H' is displayed. The 'H' will disappear once the surface has cooled down.
