Setup
- Battery Installation: The TX15 requires a 7.4V 2-cell Lithium-Polymer battery or two 3.7V 18650 Lithium-Ion cells (batteries not included). Insert the batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity. Use the provided 18650 battery tray if using 18650 cells.
- MicroSD Card: (Optional) Insert a 32GB/FAT32 formatted MicroSD card into the designated slot. Note that inserting a MicroSD card will disable the onboard flash memory for storage.
- Initial Power On: Press and hold the power button to turn on the transmitter. The 3.5-inch IPS touchscreen will display the EdgeTX interface.
- Firmware Update: It is recommended to update the radio firmware (EdgeTX version 3.0.0 or later) and module firmware (ExpressLRS) to the latest versions using the USB-C port (UF2 method).
