4. Assembly and Setup

Follow these steps to assemble your GreenSweep Wood Chipper:

5. Operating Instructions

Before Operation:

  • Ensure the chipper is on a stable, level surface.
  • Verify the collection bag is properly attached and empty.
  • Inspect the power cord for any damage.
  • Wear all recommended PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves).

Starting the Unit:

  1. Plug the chipper into a suitable grounded 15-amp power outlet.
  2. Press the ON button (usually marked with 'I') to start the motor. Allow the motor to reach full speed before feeding material.

Feeding Material:

  1. Carefully feed branches and yard waste into the hopper, one piece at a time.
  2. Do not force material into the chipper. Allow the blades to pull the material through.
  3. Use the safety paddle to gently push material into the blades, especially for shorter pieces. Never use your hands.
  4. Monitor the collection bag and empty it when full to prevent clogging.

Stopping the Unit:

Press the OFF button (usually marked with 'O') to stop the motor. Unplug the unit from the power outlet after use.
