3. Setup Guide
3.1. Hardware Installation
- Attach Antennas: Carefully screw the provided antennas into their corresponding ports on the router. Ensure 2.4G antennas are connected to 2.4G interfaces, 5G antennas to 5G interfaces, and 4G antennas to 4G interfaces.
- Insert SIM Card: Locate the SIM card slot. Insert your unlocked carrier SIM card with the chip facing up until it clicks into place.
- Connect Power: Connect the 12V/2A power adapter to the router's DC input port and plug it into a power outlet. The power indicator LED should light up.
- Connect Ethernet (Optional): For wired internet access or initial configuration, connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the WAN port of the router and the other end to your modem or internet source. For local network devices, connect them to the LAN ports.

3.2. Initial Configuration (Web Interface)
To access the router's web interface for initial setup:
- Connect to Router: Connect your computer to one of the router's LAN ports using an Ethernet cable, or connect wirelessly to the router's default Wi-Fi network (SSID and password usually found on a label on the router).
- Access Web Interface: Open a web browser and enter the default management IP address: 192.168.1.1 (or 192.168.2.1 as noted in some user experiences).
- Login: Enter the default username (root) and password (admin).
- Follow Setup Wizard: The router's interface will guide you through the initial setup, including setting up your internet connection (4G LTE or WAN), Wi-Fi network name (SSID), and password.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Connecting Devices
- Wireless Devices: Search for your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) on your smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Enter the Wi-Fi password you set during the initial configuration to connect.
- Wired Devices: Connect devices such as desktop computers, gaming consoles, or smart TVs to the router's LAN ports using Ethernet cables.
4.2. Checking 4G LTE Status
After inserting the SIM card and powering on, the 4G indicator LED on the front panel should light up, indicating a successful connection to the cellular network. You can also check the detailed status, including signal strength and data usage, through the router's web interface under the "3G/4G" or "Network" section.
4.3. USB 3.0 NAS Functionality
The router supports Network Attached Storage (NAS) via its USB 3.0 port. Connect a USB storage device (e.g., external hard drive, USB flash drive) to the USB 3.0 port. You can then configure file sharing via SAMBA or FTP through the router's web interface, allowing network devices to access shared files and media.
5. Maintenance
- Firmware Updates: Regularly check the Zbtlink website or contact customer service for the latest firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Router Placement: Place the router in a central location, away from obstructions and other electronic devices that may cause interference, to maximize Wi-Fi coverage and signal strength.
- Cleaning: Keep the router clean and free from dust to prevent overheating. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Reset Function: In case of network issues, a soft reboot (power cycle) can often resolve problems. If issues persist, a factory reset can be performed by long-pressing the Reset button (refer to the web interface for specific instructions or the manual for button location).
6. Troubleshooting
- No Internet Connection:
- Check if the SIM card is correctly inserted and activated with your carrier.
- Verify the 4G indicator LED on the router.
- Ensure the WAN port is correctly connected to your internet source (if using wired WAN).
- Access the web interface and check the network status. Confirm the APN settings are correct for your carrier.
- Weak Wi-Fi Signal:
- Adjust antenna positions.
- Relocate the router to a more central position.
- Check for interference from other electronic devices.
- Cannot Access Web Interface:
- Ensure your device is connected to the router via Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
- Try the alternative IP address 192.168.2.1 if 192.168.1.1 does not work.
- Clear your browser's cache or try a different browser.
- Slow NAS Speeds:
- Ensure you are using the USB 3.0 port for optimal performance.
- Check the network connection speed of the accessing device.
