2. Compatibility & Pre-installation Check

Important Note:

  • If your vehicle has a Type A or Type B rear connector, the unit is compatible.
  • If your vehicle has a Type C or Type D rear connector, the wiring harness is not compatible. Please contact EKAT support for assistance if you have Type C or D connectors.

4.1 Rear View Camera Wiring

Proper connection of the AHD rear view camera is essential for its functionality. Follow these steps:

  1. Connect the Red Cable to the positive pole of the car's reversing light cable.
  2. Connect the Black Cable to the negative pole of the car's reversing light cable.
  3. The other two red extension cables typically do not need to be connected.

5.1 Wireless Carplay & Android Auto

5.2 GPS Navigation

The unit supports both online and offline GPS navigation. Connect to a mobile hotspot for real-time traffic updates and online maps. For offline use, download maps in advance.

5.3 WiFi Connection
