3. Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required for this product. Please follow these general steps:

3.1. Unpacking

• Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
• Verify that all parts listed in the 'What's in the Box' section are present.

3.2. Attaching the Legs

1. Lay the main body of the sofa bed upside down on a soft, protected surface.
2. Locate the attachment points for the rubber wood legs (paws).
3. Securely attach each leg using the provided hardware. Ensure they are tightened firmly but do not overtighten.

3.3. Positioning the Cushion

• Once the legs are attached, carefully turn the sofa bed upright.
• Place the included cushion on the sofa bed.

4. Operating Instructions

This sofa bed offers three primary configurations and an adjustable backrest.

4.1. 3-in-1 Functionality (Armchair, Recliner, Bed)

The sofa bed can be easily transformed between its three modes:

• Armchair Mode: The backrest is upright, and the lower section is folded underneath, forming a compact armchair.
• Recliner Mode: The lower section is extended, and the backrest is adjusted to a reclined position.
• Bed Mode: Both the lower section and the backrest are fully extended to create a flat sleeping surface.

4.2. Adjustable Backrest

The backrest can be adjusted to 6 different angles, from 100° (upright) to 180° (flat). To adjust:

1. Gently push the backrest forward until you hear a click.
2. Slowly recline the backrest to your desired angle. It will lock into one of the 6 available positions.
3. To return to an upright position, push the backrest fully forward until it clicks, then release it to allow it to spring back to the upright position, or adjust to another desired angle.

5. Maintenance and Care

Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your sofa bed.

5.1. Cleaning

• Fabric: Spot clean only. Use a mild detergent and a damp cloth to gently blot stains. Do not rub vigorously. Allow to air dry completely.
• The cushion cover is zippered and can be removed for washing. Follow care instructions on the cushion label.
• Frame and Legs: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.

5.2. General Care

• Avoid direct sunlight exposure to prevent fading.
• Keep away from heat sources and open flames.
• Regularly check and tighten all screws and bolts to ensure stability.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your sofa bed, refer to the following common solutions:

• Sofa bed feels unstable: Ensure all legs are securely attached and all assembly hardware is tightened. Check that the sofa bed is on a flat, even surface.
• Backrest not adjusting smoothly: Ensure no obstructions are present in the adjustment mechanism. Apply gentle, even pressure when adjusting.
• Difficulty transforming between modes: Ensure the area around the sofa bed is clear of obstacles. Apply gentle force to extend or fold sections. Do not force the mechanism.
• Unusual noises: Check for loose connections or components. Tighten any loose screws.
