8. Troubleshooting
- No Sound Output:
- Check power connection and ensure the mixer is turned on.
- Verify all cable connections (inputs, outputs, speakers).
- Ensure channel GAIN and VOL controls are not at minimum.
- Check MAIN OUT VOL and PHONES VOL levels.
- Confirm connected speakers/amplifier are powered on and functioning.
- Distorted Sound:
- Reduce channel GAIN if the PKI indicator on the master section is constantly lit.
- Lower individual channel VOL controls.
- Check input source levels for clipping.
- Hum or Noise:
- Ensure all cables are properly shielded and connected.
- Check for ground loops; try plugging all audio equipment into the same power strip.
- Engage LOW CUT on microphone channels if rumble is present.
- Bluetooth Not Connecting:
- Ensure the mixer is in Bluetooth pairing mode (indicator flashing).
- Make sure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and within range.
- Forget previous pairings on your device and try pairing again.
- USB Recording Not Working:
- Ensure the USB flash drive is properly inserted and formatted (FAT32 is commonly supported).
- Check if the USB drive has sufficient free space.
- If recording to PC, ensure the mixer is selected as the input device in your computer's sound settings and DAW.
