2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Components Overview

Familiarize yourself with the main components of your coffee maker:

5. Setup

Before first use, clean all removable parts with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.

1. Place the Coffee Maker: Position the coffee maker on a clean, stable, and level surface.
2. Fill Water Reservoir: Remove the 40-oz water reservoir from the back of the unit. Fill it with fresh, cold water up to the 'Max' line. Reattach the reservoir securely to the coffee maker.

3. Adjust Drip Tray: Select the appropriate drip tray for your cup or travel mug. The drip trays are adjustable and removable to fit mugs up to 7.3 inches tall.

4. Power On: Plug the coffee maker into a standard 120V electrical outlet. Press the ON/OFF button on the control panel.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Brewing Coffee (K-Cup or Ground Coffee)

Your Tastyle K330MF supports both K-Cup pods and ground coffee.

1. Prepare Coffee:
   • For K-Cup: Insert a K-Cup pod into the capsule holder.
   • For Ground Coffee: Fill the reusable ground coffee filter with your desired amount of ground coffee. Place the filled filter into the brew head.
2. Close Brew Head: Close the brew head lid firmly until it clicks into place.
3. Select Brew Style: Choose your desired brew style from the control panel:
   • HOT BREW: For a standard hot coffee.
   • BOLD: For a stronger, more intense hot coffee.
   • OVER ICE: For iced coffee. Fill your cup with ice before placing it under the dispenser.
   • SPECIALTY BREW: For specific coffeehouse-style drinks (refer to recipe book).

4. Select Cup Size: Press the 'OZ' button repeatedly to cycle through the available cup sizes (6/8/10/12/16/24 oz). The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
5. Start Brewing: Once your selections are made, the brewing process will begin automatically. The machine will auto shut off after 10 minutes of inactivity.

6.2 Using the Detachable Milk Frother

The built-in detachable milk frother allows you to create rich foam for lattes, cappuccinos, and other specialty drinks.

1. Froth Directly (Attached): Place a small amount of milk in a suitable container (e.g., a frothing pitcher). Position the container under the frother. Press and hold the power button on the frother to activate it. Froth until desired consistency is achieved.

2. Froth Separately (Detached): To detach the frother, press the release button on the back of the connecting lever and pull it out. You can then use the frother independently with any container of milk. The frother is USB-C rechargeable for individual use.

7. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and descaling will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your coffee maker.

1. Daily Cleaning: The drip tray, capsule holder, and ground coffee filter are dishwasher-safe. The milk frother whisk can be rinsed directly under water, but avoid immersing the frother housing.
2. Descaling: The 'DESCALE' indicator light on the control panel will flash red when the machine needs descaling. To initiate the cleaning function, press and hold the 'OVER ICE' button for 3 seconds.
