Setup

1. Attaching the Flash Tube and Standard Reflector

Align the pins of the flash tube with the sockets on the flash head and gently push until it clicks into place. Then, align the standard reflector with the mount and twist clockwise to secure it.

2. Mounting on a Light Stand

Secure the flash unit onto a compatible light stand using the integrated mounting bracket. Adjust the angle as needed and tighten the locking knob.

3. Installing the Bowens Mount Adapter

The AD400Pro II includes a Bowens mount adapter for wider compatibility with various light modifiers. Attach the adapter to the flash head and secure it with the provided screws. This adapter installs without blocking the native Godox mount.

4. Installing the Detachable Flash Head (Optional)

For increased flexibility, the AD400Pro II supports an optional extension head (H400P, sold separately). Connect the extension head to the main unit via the cable and mount it on a separate light stand or clamp for precise positioning.

4. High-Speed Sync (HSS)

The AD400Pro II offers 10 power settings from 1/512 to full power, allowing precise adjustment of flash output for consistent and repeatable exposures.

7. Intuitive Color Display & Controls

Adjust settings instantly using the bright, full-color TFT display. All key functions are clearly laid out. A single press-and-hold of the modeling-lamp button toggles the lamp on or off.

8. Group Indicator Lights

16 distinct lights assign each group a unique color, allowing you to identify and adjust any unit at a glance, even in low light or from a distance. Select the group's color on screen to tweak power or sync settings instantly.
