5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Door Compatibility Check

5.3 Installation Steps

1. Prepare the Door: Ensure the door is clean and the existing mortise lock is removed.
2. Install the Mortise: Insert the new mortise lock into the door edge and secure it with screws.
3. Install the Front Panel: Connect the front panel (with keypad and fingerprint sensor) to the mortise, ensuring cables pass through the door.
4. Install the Rear Panel: Connect the rear panel to the front panel's cables and secure it to the door.
5. Insert Batteries: Open the battery cover on the rear panel and insert 3 AAA batteries, observing correct polarity.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Fingerprint Unlocking

The lock supports up to 100 fingerprints with a recognition success rate of over 99% and a recognition time of less than 0.3 seconds.

1. Enroll Fingerprint: Follow the voice prompts and app instructions to enroll new fingerprints. Typically, you will place your finger on the sensor multiple times from different angles.
2. Unlock: Place your enrolled finger on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will unlock if the fingerprint is recognized.

6.2 Passcode Unlocking

You can set various types of passcodes for different access needs:

• Permanent: For family members.
• Duration: For temporary access, e.g., for cleaners.
