Introduction

This record player features a simple and retro design style, offering an antique look with a warm and elegant feel. It includes a built-in phono equalizer amplifier, supporting both phono and line outputs. The turntable is equipped with a high-quality magnetic stylus and an adjustable gravity device. It supports switchable 33 / 45 RPM speeds and offers high manual operability. Connect this turntable to your computer via USB to record and save your vinyl records. It also features Bluetooth output for connecting to Bluetooth speakers or active speakers.

Setup

Follow these steps to correctly set up your DIGITNOW Belt Drive Turntable:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all protective materials are removed from the turntable and its parts.
  2. Platter Installation: Place the platter onto the turntable spindle. Locate the drive belt (usually pre-installed on the underside of the platter or included separately). Using the provided red ribbon or tool, loop the drive belt around the motor pulley. Rotate the platter manually about 10 times to ensure the belt is properly seated.
  3. Tonearm Assembly: Remove any foam or twist ties securing the tonearm. Attach the counterweight to the rear of the tonearm.
  4. Dust Cover: Carefully slide the dust cover into the hinges at the back of the turntable.
  5. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the DC IN 12V port on the back of the turntable and plug it into a power outlet.

Operating the Turntable

  1. Power On: Flip the power switch to the 'ON' position.
  2. Select Speed: Choose the appropriate speed (33 or 45 RPM) using the speed button on the turntable, matching your vinyl record.
  3. Place Record: Carefully place your vinyl record on the platter. If playing a 45 RPM record with a large center hole, use the provided 45 RPM adapter.
  4. Lower Tonearm: Gently lift the tonearm using the cueing lever. Position the tonearm over the desired track on the record. Slowly lower the cueing lever to allow the stylus to descend onto the record groove.
  5. Playback: Music will begin to play.
  6. Stop Playback: To stop playback, lift the tonearm using the cueing lever and return it to its rest position. Press the 'STOP' button.

Bluetooth Connectivity

The turntable features a wireless Bluetooth output connection, compatible with various Bluetooth protocols. This allows you to pair it with Bluetooth speakers or headphones for a cable-free listening experience.

  1. Activate Bluetooth: Ensure the turntable is powered on. Press the Bluetooth button on the back of the unit to activate Bluetooth pairing mode. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash.
  2. Pair Device: Put your Bluetooth speaker or headphones into pairing mode. Select the DIGITNOW turntable from the list of available devices on your speaker/headphones.
  3. Connected: Once successfully paired, the Bluetooth indicator light on the turntable will become solid. You can now enjoy your vinyl records wirelessly.

USB Digital Output

Digitize your precious vinyl records by connecting the turntable to your computer via USB. This feature allows you to record and save your favorite tracks to your PC.

  1. Connect to PC: Use the provided USB cable to connect the turntable's USB-PC port to your computer.

  • Stylus Care: Gently clean the stylus using a soft brush designed for stylus cleaning, brushing from back to front. Replace the stylus when worn to prevent damage to your records.
  • Record Care: Keep your records clean and free of dust. Store them vertically in their sleeves to prevent warping.

  • No Sound: Ensure the turntable is powered on and connected correctly to your speakers (via RCA or Bluetooth). Check the PHONO/LINE switch on the back is set appropriately for your amplifier.
  • Skipping: Verify the tonearm's tracking force and anti-skating settings are correct. Ensure the record is clean and free of dust or debris.
  • Speed Issues: Confirm the correct speed (33 or 45 RPM) is selected for the record being played.
  • Bluetooth Pairing Failure: Ensure the turntable is in pairing mode (flashing blue light) and your receiving device is also in pairing mode. Try restarting both devices.
