Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Assembling the Sofa Legs
Attach the sofa legs to the base of the sofa sections. Ensure they are securely tightened.

Step 2: Attaching the Stoppers
Secure the stoppers to the designated points on the sofa base using the provided hardware. These prevent the pull-out section from over-extending.
Step 3: Tighten the "D" screw
Tighten the "D" screws, ensuring the bolt head protrudes approximately 3/16" (5mm) as indicated in the assembly video. This allows for proper hinge engagement.
Step 4: Assembling the Hinges
Identify the left (L) and right (R) hinges. Insert them into the corresponding slots on the sofa sections. You will hear a click once the hinge is locked into place.
Step 5 & 6: Connecting Backrest and Seat
Carefully align and connect the backrest to the seat section. Secure them using the provided screws and Allen wrench. Ensure a snug fit.
Step 7 & 8: Assembling Left and Right Handrails
Attach the left and right handrails to the main sofa body. Secure them with the appropriate screws, ensuring stability.
Step 9: Assembling Baffle
Install the baffle component, ensuring it is correctly positioned and secured to the sofa frame.
Step 10: Push the Footrest
Once the main frame is assembled, gently push the footrest section into its closed position under the main seat.

3-in-1 Conversion Modes
Your Marsail futon sofa can easily convert between three modes: sofa, recliner, and sleeper bed.
- Sofa Mode: The standard upright seating position.
- Recliner Mode: Adjust the backrest to a comfortable lounging angle (135°).
- Sleeper Bed Mode: Pull the side straps of the footrest to extend it into a full bed (180° flat).
