1. Safety Information

Please read all safety warnings and instructions carefully before using this product. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

• Do not shine the flashlight directly into eyes. The high intensity light can cause temporary vision impairment or permanent eye damage.
• Keep the flashlight out of reach of children.
• Do not disassemble the flashlight head or main body. This may damage the flashlight and void the warranty.
• Use only the recommended battery type and ensure correct polarity during installation. Reverse polarity protection is built-in, but incorrect insertion can still cause issues.
• Avoid exposing the flashlight to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
• When charging, use the provided USB-C cable and a compatible power source.
• The flashlight may become warm during prolonged use at high brightness levels. This is normal.

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.
2. Insert the included 21700 Lithium Polymer battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the flashlight head.
3. Screw the tail cap back on tightly to ensure proper contact and waterproof sealing.

4.2 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the battery.

1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the flashlight body. It is usually covered by a rubber flap.
2. Open the rubber flap and connect the provided USB-C cable to the port.
3. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank, computer USB port).
4. The indicator light near the charging port will show the charging status:
   • Red: Charging in progress.
   • Green: Charging complete.
5. Once charging is complete, disconnect the cable and securely close the rubber flap to maintain waterproof integrity.

5. Operating Instructions

The Sofirn SK30 features a dual-switch interface for intuitive control: a Main Switch (tail switch) and a Mode Switch (side switch).

5.1 Main Switch (Tail Switch)

• Single Click: Turns the flashlight ON or OFF.
• Half-press + Click (from OFF): Activates Turbo mode instantly.

5.2 Mode Switch (Side Switch)

• Single Click (from ON): Cycles through brightness modes: Eco → Low → Mid → High → Turbo.
• Long Press: Activates Strobe mode. Release to return to the previous mode.

5.3 Battery Level Indicator

The flashlight features a battery level indicator to show remaining power:

• Green: 75% - 100% battery remaining.
• Flashing Green: 50% - 75% battery remaining.
• Red: 25% - 50% battery remaining.
• Flashing Red: 1% - 25% battery remaining (recharge soon).

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Clean the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Threads: Lubricate the threads and O-rings regularly with silicone grease to maintain waterproof integrity and smooth operation.
• Battery Care: If the flashlight will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage. Store batteries in a cool, dry place.
• O-rings: Inspect O-rings periodically for wear and tear. Replace them if damaged to maintain the IPX8 waterproof rating.
