Setup Guide
1. Charging the Devices
Before first use, ensure both the keyboard and mouse are fully charged. Use the provided USB-C cable to connect the devices to a power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
- Keyboard: Built-in 1200mAh rechargeable battery.
- Mouse: Built-in 500mAh rechargeable battery.
- Charging Time: Approximately 3-4 hours for a full charge.
- Note: The provided cable is for charging only and does not support wired data transmission.
2. Bluetooth Pairing
The ProtoArc KM90-A supports connection to up to three Bluetooth-enabled Mac devices.
- Turn On Devices:
- Flip the power switch on the side of the keyboard to "ON".
- Flip the power switch on the bottom of the mouse to "ON".
- Enter Pairing Mode:
- For Keyboard: Press and hold the Fn key and one of the Bluetooth channel keys (Q, W, or E) for 3-5 seconds until the corresponding indicator light blinks rapidly.
- For Mouse: Press the "Channel Switch Button" on the bottom of the mouse to select a channel (1, 2, or 3). Then, press and hold the same channel button for 3-5 seconds until the indicator light blinks rapidly.
- Connect on Mac Device:
- On your Mac, MacBook, iPad, or iPhone, go to System Settings (or Settings on iOS/iPadOS) > Bluetooth.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
- Look for "ProtoArc KM90-A" (for keyboard) and "ProtoArc Mouse" (for mouse) in the list of nearby devices.
- Click or tap "Connect" next to each device. The indicator light will stop blinking and remain solid once connected.
Repeat the pairing process for other devices using different Bluetooth channels (Q/W/E for keyboard, 1/2/3 for mouse).

- Requires macOS versions 10.12 or above. Devices manufactured before 2013 may not be supported.

Operating Instructions
1. Keyboard Operation
- Backlighting: Press the backlight key (usually F1 or a dedicated key with a light icon) to cycle through three soft white LED brightness levels. This helps reduce eye strain in various lighting conditions.
- Multimedia Keys: Use the F1-F12 keys for quick access to functions like screen brightness, Mission Control, Launchpad, media playback, and volume control.
- Multi-Device Switching: To switch between connected devices, simply press Fn + Q (Device 1), Fn + W (Device 2), or Fn + E (Device 3). The switch is seamless and instant.
- Sleep Mode: The keyboard enters sleep mode after 60 minutes of inactivity to conserve energy. Press any key to wake it up. Backlighting may require manual reactivation.
2. Mouse Operation
- DPI Adjustment: Press the DPI button (located near the scroll wheel) to cycle through 1000, 1600, and 2400 DPI settings. This allows you to customize cursor sensitivity for precise control.
- Multi-Device Switching: Use the "Channel Switch Button" on the bottom of the mouse to select the desired Bluetooth channel (1, 2, or 3) corresponding to your paired device.
