  • Electrical Safety: This product operates on 12-24V AC/DC low voltage. Ensure the power supply is disconnected before installation or maintenance. Use only with a compatible low voltage landscape lighting transformer (sold separately).
  • Outdoor Use: These lights are designed for outdoor use with an IP65 waterproof rating, making them resistant to dust and water jets. They are suitable for operation in temperatures ranging from -4°F to 104°F.

5. Installation

Follow these steps to install your LEONLITE path lights:

  1. Prepare Wiring: Ensure the low voltage landscape lighting transformer (not included) is unplugged from the power source. Run the homerun wire (not included) from the transformer to the desired location of your path lights.
  2. Connect Wires: For each path light, connect its wires to the homerun wire using the provided waterproof wire nuts and wire connectors. Ensure connections are secure and waterproof.
  3. Position Stake: Attach the pedal stake to the bottom of the path light.
  4. Fix in Ground: Press the pedal stake firmly into the ground at your desired location. Use your foot on the pedal for leverage to ensure the stake is securely fixed.
  5. Adjust Color Temperature: Before installing the top hat, locate the color temperature selection button on the top of the light fixture. Select your desired CCT (1800K, 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, or 5000K).
  6. Secure Top Hat: Once the CCT is set, securely install the top hat onto the light fixture.
  7. Power On: Plug in your low voltage transformer to activate the lights.

6. Operation

The LEONLITE path lights feature an adjustable color temperature (CCT) to suit various preferences and environments.

6.1. Adjusting Color Temperature (CCT)

Before final assembly of the light's top hat, locate the small button on the top surface of the light fixture. Press this button to cycle through the five available color temperatures:

  • 1800K: Ultra-warm, amber glow (candle-like)
  • 2700K: Warm white
  • 3000K: Soft white
  • 4000K: Cool white
  • 5000K: Daylight bright

Select the desired color temperature before securing the top hat. The setting will remain until manually changed again.

7. Maintenance

These path lights are designed for durability and require minimal maintenance.

  • Cleaning: Periodically wipe the light fixture with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the wiring and connections for any signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. Ensure all connections remain waterproof.
  • Bulb Replacement: The integrated LED light source is designed for a long lifespan (30,000 hours) and is not user-replaceable.

  • Light Not Turning On:
    • Check if the low voltage transformer is plugged in and receiving power.
    • Verify all wire connections are secure and properly insulated.
    • Ensure the transformer is functioning correctly.
  • Incorrect Color Temperature:
    • Remove the top hat and press the CCT selection button to cycle to the desired color.
  • Flickering Light:
    • Check for loose wire connections.
    • Ensure the transformer is not overloaded.
