5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mouse. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, ensuring no moisture enters the internal components. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the mouse frequently. Charge it when the battery indicator suggests low power. Store the mouse in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
- Storage: When transporting the mouse, ensure the USB receiver is securely stored in its compartment to prevent loss.
6. Troubleshooting
- Mouse not responding:
- Ensure the mouse is charged.
- Check the mode switch on the bottom of the mouse is set correctly (2.4G, BT, or OFF).
- For 2.4Ghz mode, ensure the USB receiver is properly plugged into a working USB port.
- For Bluetooth mode, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the mouse is paired. Try re-pairing if necessary.
- In wired mode, ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the mouse and the computer.
- Cursor movement is erratic or slow:
- Clean the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse.
- Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface (not highly reflective or transparent).
- Adjust the DPI setting using the DPI switch or software.
- Adjust the polling rate in the software for better responsiveness.
- RGB lighting not working:
- Check the RGB settings in the software. Ensure lighting is not set to 'Light Off'.
- Ensure the mouse has sufficient battery charge.
- Side buttons not working on Mac OS:
- This is a known compatibility limitation. Side buttons are not available on Mac OS.
