4. Setup
4.1 Power Supply
The main unit can be powered by either the included USB cable or 3 AAA batteries (not included). The remote sensors require batteries (not included).
- Main Unit: Insert 3 AAA batteries into the battery compartment, observing polarity. For continuous backlight, connect the main unit to a power source using the USB cable.
- Remote Sensors: Insert 2 AAA batteries into each remote sensor, observing polarity.

4.2 Sensor Pairing
The main unit should automatically connect to the remote sensors once both are powered on. If a sensor does not connect, ensure it is within range and press the 'TX' button on the back of the sensor to manually send a signal. The main unit will display the outdoor readings for each connected sensor.
4.3 Placement
Place the main unit indoors in a central location, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Position the remote sensors outdoors in a shaded, dry area, protected from direct rain and sunlight, to ensure accurate readings. Ensure sensors are within the 100-meter (328 feet) transmission range of the main unit.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Display Overview
The color display is divided into several sections:
- INDOOR: Displays current indoor temperature and humidity.
- WEATHER: Shows the weather forecast icon.
- AIR PRESSURE: Displays current air pressure and trend.
- OUTDOOR 1, 2, 3: Displays temperature and humidity for each connected remote sensor.
- ALERTS: Indicates if temperature alerts are active for outdoor channels.

5.2 Weather Forecast
The weather station analyzes air pressure changes to provide a forecast for the next 12 hours. The display will show one of seven weather icons:
- Sunny
- Partly Cloudy
- Overcast
- Rain
- Thunderstorm
- Snowfall
- Heavy Snowfall

5.3 Temperature and Humidity Alerts
The weather station allows you to set high and low temperature alerts for outdoor channels. When the temperature exceeds or falls below the set thresholds, an alert icon will appear on the display. The alert setting range is from -20°C to 70°C (-4°F to 158°F).

5.4 Backlight Control
When powered by USB, the backlight is always on and can be adjusted to high, low, or off using the touch button. When powered by batteries, the backlight will illuminate for 10 seconds after pressing the touch button.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Replacement
Replace batteries in the main unit and remote sensors when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always replace all batteries in a set at the same time.
6.2 Cleaning
Wipe the main unit and sensors with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no moisture enters the battery compartments or electronic components.
7. Troubleshooting
- No Display on Main Unit:
Ensure batteries are correctly inserted with correct polarity or the USB cable is properly connected to a power source.
- No Outdoor Readings:
Check if remote sensor batteries are installed correctly. Ensure sensors are within the 100-meter transmission range. Press the 'TX' button on the back of the sensor to re-send the signal. Avoid major obstructions between the sensor and main unit.
- Inaccurate Readings:
Ensure sensors are placed in a shaded, dry location away from direct heat sources or extreme cold. Allow time for readings to stabilize after initial setup.
- Weather Forecast Inaccurate:
The weather forecast is based on air pressure changes over time and is an estimation for the next 12 hours. It may not always perfectly match local weather conditions.
