Setup Instructions
The Intex Prism Frame pool is designed for straightforward assembly. No tools are required for the main pool frame setup.
1. Site Preparation
- Choose a firm, level surface free of sharp objects, debris, and excessive slopes. The ground must be capable of supporting the weight of the filled pool.
- Clear the area of any vegetation or roots.
- Ensure the chosen location is near a suitable electrical outlet for the filter pump, adhering to all electrical safety guidelines.
2. Ground Cloth Placement
Unfold the ground cloth (15.5 ft. square) and lay it flat in the prepared area. This provides added protection for the pool bottom.

3. Pool Liner Unfolding
Carefully unfold the pool liner onto the ground cloth. Position the drain plug away from the main traffic area. Smooth out any wrinkles in the bottom of the liner.

4. Frame Assembly
Assemble the powder-coated steel tubing frame by connecting the horizontal beams and vertical supports using the simple T-joints. Ensure all connections are secure. The advanced structure features oversized metal tubing for enhanced strength.

5. Filter Pump Installation
Connect the cartridge filter pump (Intex model 28603EG) to the pool liner's inlet and outlet fittings according to the pump's specific instructions. Ensure all hoses are securely clamped to prevent leaks.

6. Ladder Assembly
Assemble the removable ladder following the provided instructions. Place the ladder on a solid, level surface outside the pool. Ensure the ladder is stable before use.

7. Filling the Pool
Begin filling the pool with water. As the water level rises, continue to smooth out any remaining wrinkles in the pool bottom. Stop filling when the water reaches the recommended fill line, typically just below the top frame rail.

Operation
1. Filter Pump Operation
The included 1,500 GPH cartridge filter pump utilizes Hydro Aeration Technology for improved water circulation, filtration, clarity, and increased negative ions. Operate the pump for 2-12 hours daily, depending on usage and water conditions, to maintain water quality.
- Priming the Pump: Before first use and after cleaning, ensure the pump is primed by releasing air through the air release valve until water flows steadily.
- Automatic Filtration: The pump features automatic daily filtration cycles. Refer to the pump's specific manual for programming details.

2. Inflatable Lounger Chairs
Inflate the two included lounger chairs using an appropriate air pump. These chairs feature backrests, armrests, and cup holders for comfort. Always use them in a safe water depth and under supervision.

3. Inflatable Cooler with Lid
Inflate the cooler and use it to keep beverages and snacks cool. It has space for up to 72 cans and ice. The cooler includes grab rope and connector, grab handles, and cup holders.

Maintenance
1. Filter Cartridge Cleaning and Replacement
The filter cartridge should be checked and cleaned regularly, typically every few days, depending on pool usage. Replace the cartridge every two weeks or sooner if it remains dirty after cleaning.
- Turn off the filter pump before opening the filter housing.
- Remove the cartridge and rinse thoroughly with a garden hose.
- If the cartridge is damaged or excessively dirty, replace it with an Intex Type A or C filter cartridge.

2. Pool Water Chemistry
