  • Extendable Ducting: Allows adjustment for various wall thicknesses.
  • Pre-filter: Captures larger particles before air reaches the heat exchanger.
  • Ceramic Heat Exchanger: Recovers up to 90% of heat energy from exhaust air.
  • EC Motor: Energy-saving motor with PWM control for quiet and powerful operation.
  • G4 Filter: Provides fine filtration for incoming air.
  • Magnetic Panel: Detachable for easy access to filters and internal components for cleaning.

2.2 Operating Modes

The ventilator offers three distinct airflow modes to suit different ventilation needs.

  • Intake Mode: Brings fresh air into the room.
  • Exhaust Mode: Expels indoor air to the outside.
  • Recirculation Mode: Alternates between intake and exhaust to maximize heat recovery.

2.3 Control Methods

The unit can be controlled via physical buttons, a remote control, or a smartphone application.

3. Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the optimal performance of your Heat Recovery Ventilator. Follow these steps carefully.

Four-step installation guide for the wall-mounted ventilator
Figure 3.1: Installation Steps. This image provides a visual guide to the installation process, from drilling the wall hole to securing the unit.
  1. Drill Wall Hole: Drill a round hole through the wall. The recommended hole size is 160-180mm for a 150mm duct.
  2. Seal Duct: Apply waterproof sealing glue to the inner side of the rubber ring. Pass the duct through the wall hole from the inside, then pull it back to seal the inner rubber ring against the outer wall. Fill any gaps with foam glue (use waterproof sealant indoors).
  3. Install Filters and Core: Secure the mounting panel with the 4 screws provided. Install the filter, ceramic exchanger core, second filter, and air flow rectifier in sequence inside the telescopic air duct.
  4. Mount Unit: Install the ventilation unit onto the mounting plate. The unit is secured with magnets.

3.1 Dimensions and Wall Thickness

The unit is designed to fit various wall thicknesses due to its extendable ducting.
