Setup

Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the Woowind LP1. Connect the provided USB Charging Cable to the inflator's charging port and to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, car charger, computer USB port). The battery indicator on the digital display will show charging progress. A full charge ensures optimal performance and battery longevity. The LP1 can remain on standby for up to 6 months when fully charged and not in use.

Connecting the Flexible Hose

The flexible hose with a Schrader valve is stored within the inflator's compartment for convenience. To use, pull out the hose from the top of the unit. To store, simply slide the air tube back into the pump compartment until it clicks into place.

Operating Instructions

General Operation

  1. Connect the Pump: Screw the flexible hose onto the tire valve. If necessary, attach the appropriate adapter (Presta, Dunlop, swimming ring nozzle, or ball needle) to the Schrader valve on the hose before connecting.
  2. Power On: Press the power button to turn on the inflator. The LCD display will illuminate, showing the current tire pressure.
  3. Select Mode/Set Pressure: Use the 'M' button to cycle through the 4 pre-set inflation modes: Car, Motorcycle, Bicycle, and Ball. Each mode has a default pressure range. Alternatively, use the '+' and '-' buttons to manually set your desired pressure with 0.5 PSI precision.
  4. Start Inflation: Press the power button again to begin inflation. The inflator will automatically stop once the pre-set pressure is reached, preventing over-inflation.
  5. Disconnect: Once inflation is complete, disconnect the hose from the valve.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Woowind LP1, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Regular Charging: Recharge the battery regularly, even if not in frequent use, to maintain battery health. If stored for extended periods, ensure the device is fully charged every 3-6 months.
  • Cleanliness: Keep the inflator clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Hose and Adapter Inspection: Periodically inspect the flexible hose and adapters for any signs of wear, cracks, or damage. Replace if necessary to ensure a secure connection and prevent air leaks.
  • Proper Storage: Store the inflator in its carrying pouch in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the flexible hose is properly stored within its compartment to prevent damage.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Woowind LP1, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • Device Not Turning On:
    • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source using the USB charging cable and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
    • Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to ensure it's not just a quick press.
  • Inflator Not Inflating / Low Air Flow:
    • Check the connection between the hose and the tire valve. Ensure it is securely screwed on and there are no air leaks.
    • Verify that the correct adapter is used for the valve type.
    • Ensure the desired pressure is set above the current tire pressure.
    • Check the battery level. Low battery can affect performance. Recharge if necessary.
    • Inspect the hose and adapters for any blockages or damage.
  • Inaccurate Pressure Reading:
    • Ensure the hose is securely connected to the valve without any leaks.
    • The device provides 0.5 PSI precision. Allow a moment for the reading to stabilize.
  • Device Overheating:
    • The inflator may become warm during prolonged use. If it feels excessively hot, turn it off and allow it to cool down before resuming operation.

If the issue persists after following these steps, please contact Woowind customer support for further assistance.
