Safer Plug® Fire Prevention Technology

4. Operating Instructions

• Glass Panels: Clean glass panels with a glass cleaner and a soft cloth.
• Air Intake/Output: Ensure the air intake and output vents are clear of dust and debris to maintain proper airflow and heating efficiency.

6. Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your electric fireplace, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• No Power: Check if the unit is properly plugged into a grounded outlet. Verify the outlet is functional by plugging in another appliance. Check your home's circuit breaker.
• No Heat: Ensure the heat function is activated via the remote or manual controls. Check the thermostat setting; if the room temperature is above the set temperature, the heater will not activate.
• Flames Not Working: Verify the flame effect is turned on. Adjust brightness settings.
• Remote Not Responding: Replace the CR2025 battery in the remote control. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the unit's sensor.
• Unit Overheating: The Safer Plug® technology will automatically shut off the unit if overheating is detected. Unplug the unit, allow it to cool, and check for any obstructions around the vents before plugging it back in.
