The Philips Lady Shaver Series 6000 (BRL137/00) is a cordless, wet & dry electric shaver designed for gentle hair removal on legs, body, and bikini areas. It features a 3-blade shaving system to minimize skin irritation.

3. Setup

Charging the Shaver:

1. Ensure the shaver is turned off.
2. Connect the USB-A charging cable to the charging port on the shaver.
3. Plug the other end of the USB-A cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port.
4. The charging indicator light will illuminate. A full charge takes approximately 8 hours and provides up to 80 minutes of cordless use.

4. Operating Instructions

General Shaving (Legs and Body):

1. For best results, gently exfoliate your skin one day before shaving to remove dead skin and help prevent ingrown hairs.
2. Ensure the shaving head is securely attached to the shaver.
3. If hair is longer than 3mm, pre-trim it using the trimming comb attachment for optimal performance.
4. Press the power button to turn on the shaver.
5. Place the shaver flat on your skin. Shave and trim against the direction of hair growth.
6. Be gentle and move the shaver slowly from your ankle to your knee. Use your free hand to stretch the skin for a closer shave.
7. The shaver can be used wet (in the shower or bath) or dry, according to your preference.

Using the Bikini Trimmer Head and Comb:

1. Turn off the shaver and remove the shaving head.
2. Attach the bikini trimmer head to the shaver.
3. For precise trimming, attach the bikini trimmer comb to the bikini trimmer head.
4. Turn on the shaver. Use your free hand to stretch the skin in the bikini area.
5. Move the trimmer slowly and gently to trim and shape the bikini area as desired.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

1. After each use, turn off the shaver and remove the shaving head or trimmer head.
2. Gently blow away any loose hair from the shaver body and the head.
3. Rinse the shaving head and trimmer heads under lukewarm running water. Ensure all hair residues are removed.
4. Let all attachments air dry completely before reattaching them to the device or storing them.
5. For optimal performance, replace the shaving foil once a year.

6. Troubleshooting

• Shaver not turning on: Ensure the shaver is fully charged. Check if the power button is pressed correctly.
• Shaver not charging: Verify that the USB-A cable is securely connected to both the shaver and a working USB power source. Remember, a power adapter is not included.
• Poor shaving performance / pulling hair: Ensure the shaving foil is clean and free of debris. If the foil is damaged or worn, replace it. For longer hair, pre-trim with the appropriate comb attachment.
• Skin irritation: Ensure the shaver head is clean and undamaged. Always shave on clean skin. If irritation persists, consult a dermatologist.
